Signs of spring. FINALLY!

I took my camera outside but the only things I could find to photograph were these crocus. They appeared on Easter Sunday. Still no daffs, but maybe tomorrow.



These two showed up this week. I assume they are the same pair that visit each year. Last spring mama nested under the peonies, the very same peonies I plan to get rid of this year.







The weather forecasters have been predicting a warmer spring than usual, but I guess it has to be a colder spring than usual first. Tomorrow it is supposed to switch from cool to warm, so I prepared the onion bed today. Fingers crossed, it won't be long now and this eternal winter will be over.
